Cookie Contract

Payment Due  You pay, I’ll bake! Payment is required up front so that I can source your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, fabulous food colors and the perfect packaging. Your payment will reserve your pick-up date too! We request that you pay your invoice within 48 hours to hold your place on our calendar. 

No show = No cookies  Your treats are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed upon pick-up time forfeits your order. But take heart, they will be donated to another family or local organization. Need to reschedule your pick-up? No problem! Please reach out 3 days prior to your pickup time so that we can coordinate a new time.

Delivery Clause  All orders are pick-up only. Delivery can be an option if you live within 10 miles of the pick-up location with an additional fee. 

Pick-up Dates and Times  Delivery and pick up times are set upon ordering, so put that cookie pick-up in your calendar!

Change Cutoff  Decisions are tough! But we’re here to help. Order changes can be made until one week prior to pickup. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.

Inspiration  Thanks for bringing those inspo pictures! They are just that – inspiring. But your cookies may not be perfect replicas – we’ll try to keep it close. Every screen shows colors slightly differently, so exact matches are never quite possible, but we’ll try our best! Also, cookies in photos may not be true to size!

 
Covid/Illness Care  We know that you can’t control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid/Illness, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your cookies for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.

In a hurry?  While I can’t accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 7 days will require a rush fee of $20.

Price Adjustments  All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredient costs. I’m always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients, with quality ingredients….but those can be expensive! This also means that I can’t honor old pricing (because the grocery store won’t honor their old flour prices – darn it). 

Product Photography  Say Cheese!! We love to photograph these pretty sweet lookin’ sweets. If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with me.

Copycats  Copyright images (think Star Wars and Disney) are protected and I won’t be able to replicate them. We can make a similar color palette inspired by your favorite characters, so let’s see what we can do for you! 

It’s All Yours Now.  Once cookies are picked-up what happens to your cookies is on you. Keep them out of direct sunlight, out of the fridge and on a cool dry counter. Have extras? Cookies freeze up well! Just pop them in an air-tight container, freeze, and leave in the container when it’s time to thaw.

Talk to Me!  To get your order right, I’ll need you to reply to my messages within 24 hours – otherwise, I may just have to wing it! Questions for me? Please give me about 24 hours to reply – I’m usually covered in dough!

Cottage Food Laws  We are a registered cottage baker in the State of Texas, which means we have to follow specific regulations. This means we can’t ship, we can only use certain recipes and ingredients. Our products are made in a home kitchen that has not been subject to a standard inspection criteria. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free or gluten free. We cannot accommodate allergies.
